A week long sports fixture was organised by Tagore Public School, on Saturday the 19^th of November with full grandeur. The morning session started with the flag hoisting by the Principal Ms K ADHIKARI.It was followed by the lighting of the torch to inaugurate the meet. Shashank Srivastava and Saumya Tandon, the sports captain of the school, administered the oath of integrity and fair play to the participants.  Various races ,  Musical chair and lemon race,Tug-O-War Girls (final) were conducted by the students of different classes. 

The afternoon session was graced by the presence of our chief guest Mr. Santosh Kumar Shukla, DIG (Jail).The four houses Geetanjali, Lipika, Varsha and Chitra along with the marching band displayed perfect harmony coordination and rhythm.

 This was followed by various PT displays like Shiv Triidonr, Bond of togethrness and keep smiling by CBSE-i along with 200 meters, 400 meters relay race and Tug-O-War Boys (Final).The spectators were  mesmerized by their lovely performance and thoroughly enjoyed the items.A group of enthusiastic parents participated in  a lemon race arranged for them.

 Towards the end of the sports meet, the winners of all the races took out a victory march. The Chief Guest in his address applauded the efforts of students and staff in organizing the sports meet.
